Forbes Magazine has, once again, listed Fayetteville as a prime location that is poised for economic opportunity and growth. The June 11th edition of Forbes Magazine identified the U.S. cities best poised for a quick rebound and recovery from the recession this country is experiencing. Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers - our Northwest Arkansas region - was selected as the second best region in the nation. Only the Austin-Round Rock, TX region was selected ahead of our own.
Your Chamber believes Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas were at the top of this list because of your leadership. Your leadership helps support our public schools, our university, and our community college in developing programs and graduates that exceed national standards for excellence in education and skill sets.
